Tap Settings above the mapping dashboard to access settings. When mapping with the NavVis VLX, this button can also be found in the right menu.Camera Settings:
Automatic Camera Triggering: If enabled, the cameras will trigger automatically once the mobile mapping system has moved by the minimum distance. Otherwise, the cameras do not capture images automatically, and you should do this manually. If the mobile mapping system is moving too fast, triggering will be delayed.
Min. Distance between Trigger Attempts: Desired distance between capture locations (default: 0.6m).
Additional Settings:
Sound - Adjust the system volume.
CHECK FOR UPDATE - Check for a software update
Window View - Run the application in full screen, maximized, or windowed mode.
Warnings give the user hints on how to achieve better results (e.g. rotate slower, walk slower, do not tilt) and do not imply an immediate risk for the mapping process itself.
Errors mean that something unexpected has happened (e.g. a sensor failed, a software process terminated, time synchronization failed). The software will ask you to stop mapping if a severe error has occurred.
