How to Format an External SSD to use with NavVis VLX

Note:Your device must have NavVis System Software version 2.7.0 or newer.

Note: NavVis recommends formatting the external SSD using the provided Linux script. If the script does not work, use one of the other procedures.

Note: Make a backup of the SSD data as this procedure removes all data on the SSD.

Note: Do not format the wrong disk. Data will be lost and damage to the PC is possible.
