Triggering the Cameras

Tap the AUTO or MANUAL icon on the top bar to toggle between automatic or manual camera triggering. Automatic and manual triggering settings can also be changed in the Settings menu.

Note: Manual triggering is disabled in pause mode when the user is not on the main dashboard screen to prevent issues with panorama generation in non-scanned areas.

Manual camera triggering is useful when:

• The user needs extra pictures of an object or area.
• Automatic triggering is inactive but the user needs to take a picture in a particular place.

Note: An image is captured immediately when the camera button is pressed. As a result, the images may contain motion blur if the user is in motion.

Automatic camera triggering can be disabled in the settings. Automatic triggering can be disabled with a long press of the camera button.
